Coffee Table Makeover


Been working on some cool projects over at Found Vintage Rentals in Fullerton, CA. The owner, Jeni, is known for seeing hope in the hopeless, as far as furniture goes.

So with the help of my new HVLP sprayer and some salvaged tin from a burned down night club, we flipped this boring brown table into a really cool centerpiece for a little drinks and conversation;)

How to Build and Anti-gravity // Inception-style Skate Ramp


My boy Jacob from Think Tank Gallery in LA called me about their upcoming show "Dude, Monsters!" and said they needed an 'out of the ordinary' installation related to skating. We soon came up with the simple question to guide the design..."What if Savador DalĂ­ and MC Escher decided to go skating together in a dream? What ramp would they use?" Here's what we came up with...

Turning the Tables on a Table

On a recent (and infrequent) jog around the block I found an abandoned glass table sitting outside an apartment building. I deemed it restorable and returned within the hour in our Pickermobile to snatch it up quick style.

After some imaginary painting in my head I decided to go with a simple (and easier to sell) vintage white finish. It's a very solid unit in great condition. But just like any piece of furniture, when the owner lacks vision, the piece will perish.
